Targu-Jiu School Center for Inclusive Education Targu-Jiu is an educational institution especially with tradition in the area, the only of its kind that serves the entire county and who is training currently 175 pupils with severe mental disabilities or profound, aged between 5 and 20 years. For this children, our school  ensure training , education, therapies and compensation, professionalization by 57 teachers of different specializations.
     

      With the evolution of legislative 520 students with mental deficiencies medium or lightweight  from normal schools in our city, but also in Gorj county attend schools close to their location, but also benefit programs specialist support from our school can be found in legislation as educational integrated, inclusive education. For them our school provide educational services, therapy with other language disorders 37 support teachers, specialists in educational services.
      Our school provide methodical and psycho-counseling teachers in normal schools, the only school for student teaching practice. Collaborates with numerous institutions of special education and mainstream, with local authorities and especially with parents of the school. 
      The mission of our school is ,, development of each students  to their full potential ", integration of children with special needs in community,  development activities creative and expressive children, student participation in actions and activities to feel part of the community,  that are not excluded and thus raise the whole community, so the feeling of being marginalized not to dominate their lives.
