Activity 7

The impacts of the project is measured with the
help of observations and surveys for students,
teachers, and families.
We counted the number of partipating teachers,
students and authorities invited to watch the
activities and performances
We checked the number of visualization of our
project website, FB group, project blog ,
YOUTUBE uploaded videos
We also measured the impacts both with our
partners and in each school:
We created and applied an open survey
questionnaire which detected
students’ attitude in the sense of tolerance,
respect, acceptance of social, cultural and
linguistic diversity.
We had interviews with our students before and
after short term exchange of groups of
students to investigate their attitude towards
a formation of a common European identity.
The project has been evaluated, adapted and adjusted thanks to carefully
prepared evaluation grids and open discussions during the
transnational Project Meetings.
The teachers checked if the methods are adequate; if students were nvolved
equally in the tasks; if the students were more motivated to learn English
and other school subjects by using Drama ; if all the students felt
accepted and included by the others; if the students are improving
their competence in English language and ICT-skills ; if the students
respected the cultural identity of their European partners; if the students
were gaining self-esteem and confidence; if the students were getting
over their insecurities; if the students were able to express their creativity
in the project activities; if the students were learning to work together,
to cooperate, to listen and accept the view points and contributions of
others; if they were developing tolerance and empathy.
The reports were published on the eTwinning Twinspace , on the project website,
on the project blog after each Transnational Project Meeting.
Throughout the project: The coordinator and the teachers in charge of the different tasks monitored and controlled if the deadlines were respected and if the partner schools took on their responsibilities and tasks in the project.
Teachers involved in the project met once a month in each school to had a review of the activities and analysed what worked and what went wrong in order to remedy the situation.
Teachers also evaluated their students by observing how they perform their tasks (if they respected deadlines, if they developed reciprocity and concern for others, how they managed with ICT-tools, etc.), asking them to answer questionnaires.
We prepared a form for parents and one for students to check their appreciation of the project activities at the end of each year of the project.
We applied a survey to the participating teachers at the end of the Project to examine how they benefited from the experiences of interaction with other teacher from the European partner.
