This short term exchange of students focused on Active transformation of text.
The participants were 4 students foreach country but as for the Italian students they were only 3 because the day of departure from Italy one of the students was ill and couldn’t leave under the doctor prescription
The Portuguese school organized these activities:
- a Workshop “ From reading to play”. Demonstrating the power of psychodrama and its power to enhance students self empowerment. Students participated in some drama games prepared by the Portuguese teachers and recorded in a register booklet, specially created for this mobility. Icebreakers, get-to-know-you exercises and confidence building activities were thought to help students get comfortable, warmed up and focused. Then students were asked to get involved in the drama games –mime and movement; short improvisations and sound games which were played individually, in pairs or short groups.
- From The Page to the Stage in the Creative Writing. This theatre game integrated some behind-the-scenes exercises, which promoted working together on a shared goal and came out with a final “product” to be shared with everybody. At the end students were challenged to build a story to be role-played in their final drama sketches –”.
Portuguese school organized a workshop carried out by an actor, Simão Biernat, from MyheARTheatre to develop important skills required for acting and performing (instead of the visits to important Theatres: Teatro D.Maria in Lisbon and Mãe de água;Talking to actors – visiting Casa do Artista) . Afterwards students and teachers watched the play: The Detectives, performed by professional actors from MYheARTheatre company.“The Detectives is an entertaining and interactive love-story/murder-mystery set in an English cabaret. One of the actors is murdered during a performance. The audience worked with the actors to discover who the killer was.” Students were involved in the activity.
-Is Drama a drama? theatre and living in society – Students and teachers went to the Puppet Museum in Alcântara, Lisbon, where they attended two workshops:

The Muppets - a workshop dedicated to foam puppets where participants had the opportunity to acquire the basic knowledge of creating and manipulating foam puppets, and
-
A Show in Two Hours – How do we make a puppet show? Where do we begin: by the story, the scenery or the characters?
For two hours students worked the various stages of creating a puppet show: from the choice of the story, the creation of the puppets, the making of sceneries ,the Sound effects and in the end, the presentation of the show!
In this workshop directed to the world of shadow puppetry it was intended that participants acquired the essential knowledge to create and manipulate a shadow puppet.
Photos and videos of the learning activities were collected and uploaded on the project digital media/social network for the dissemination process by the host country
Cultural activities included the visit Lisbon city centre, where they could appreciate some historical monuments and places: Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, Estação do Rossio, Praça do Rossio, Terreiro do Paço, Lisbon Town Hall and traditional neighbourhoods ( Alfama). Sightseeing in Belém, where they could visit some monuments ( Centro Cultural de Belém, Torre de Belém , Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, …) and eat a delicious typical Portuguese delicacy: “ Pastéis de Belém in the original pastry factory (a century-old recipe).
