LTTA - WARSAW, POLAND

This short term exchange of students focused on Drama & Literature and Theatre as a medium to popularize literature. The participants were 5 students from each country.
The activities proposed by the Polish school within the project workshop taught students appreciate art, let them look at classical literature not as a compulsory and boring subject but as a medium to teach them the truths of life.. These were:
-“La Commedia dell’Arte” This activity let students learn the idea and involved the English language to produce their own drama dialogues based on a scenario. The students were challenged to build a story to be role-played or filmed and shared with everybody, which promoted the experience of working together in international groups on a common goal and also towards a final “product”.
Presentation of students’ final works held at school – filmed drama sketches where Erasmus students could enhance their public presentation skills and learn to use English more freely, outside of the classroom context.
Different workshops with actors at TEATR POLSKI. They were involved in different drama games, which included mime, movement, short improvisations and sound games in order to develop important skills that are required for acting and performing. Those activities were followed by a visit to the backstage of the theatre and also by an interview with a famous Polish actor from the theatre – PrzemysÅ‚aw WyszyÅ„ski.
Dissemination activities : Photos and videos of the learning activities were collected for the dissemination process by the host country.
the Mayor of Mokotów District RafaÅ‚ Miastowski, his deputy Krzysztof Skolimowski and Cezary Serzysko- Head of the school attended a meeting with all international students and teachers at XLIX Liceum OgólnoksztaÅ‚cÄ…ce z OddziaÅ‚ami DwujÄ™zycznymi im J.W. Goethego. The project was presented by the Polish students and their teachers Kinga Siwek and Katarzyna Kwiatkowska. Each delegation had also the opportunity to say a few words about the importance of the project and the appreciation of the Polish hospitality
Cultural activities included : sightseeing in the old town of Warsaw
